1.1 These requirements are intended to supplement the Standard for Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishers, UL 299, for Portable Dry Chemical Fire Extinguishing System Units provided with a heat responsive automatic means of actuation. These devices are also to be manually operated as a portable dry chemical fire extinguisher.
