The following changes in requirements are being proposed:
1. Revisions to include fault current testing capacitors that rely on segmented metallized electrodes to open the circuit under fault conditions rather than an expansion/pressure mechanism
2. Revised requirements for low voltage circuits and limited power (formerly limited energy) circuits
3. Revised production line testing values
4. Added supplement section to include requirements for electrolytic capacitors
5. New option to allow use of IEC grounding symbol
6. Wire bending space
7. Miscellaneous revisions
8. Reaffirmation and continuance of the fifth edition of UL 810 as an American National Standard
