The following changes in requirements are being proposed:
1. Revisions to the strength requirements of UL 1777 including: specifying that Loading Test for Metallic Chimney Liners, Section 23, does not apply to corrugated liners; reducing loading tests of liners for gas-fueled appliances from 200 to 100 pounds; and specifying that a liner intended for venting gas-fueled only appliances is not subject to the sweep test.
