The following changes in requirements are being proposed:
1. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete reference to Annex 101 DVA since IEC standard now includes horsepower ratings.
2. For Preliminary Review Only: Harmonization of IEC utilization categories with the UL ratings for control of external loads
3. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Table 5.5DV.1 and associated references to standard VA ratings based on size of contactor.
4. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 6.2DV.3.3 requiring marking for separately provided, poly-phase overload relays.
5. For Preliminary Review Only: Reduce number of marking locations in Table 6.2DV.1 to three.
6. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 6.2DV.3.5 marking requirements for overload relays with removable current elements. (This proposal is related to Topic 17)
7. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 8.1DV.2.1 requiring a stop on an instantaneous trip circuit breaker.
8. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 8.1.5.1DV and all sub-clauses requiring handle position marking.
9. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 8.2.5DV.1.2 allowing testing of contactor to be waived when tested as a starter.
10. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 8.2.5DV.1.4 requiring testing of self-protected manual combination motor contoller with a separate remote controlled motor controller.
11. For Preliminary Review Only: Delete Clause 9.1.5DV.1 as this testing is optional.
