This first issue of Outline Subject 87C contains requirements that apply to power operated dispensing devices, rated 600 V or less, for use with Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF). These requirements may be used to evaluate individual components of a dispensing device for use with DEF. Dispensing devices covered by these requirements are intended for use with DEF defined as a liquid with 67.5 percent deionized water and 32.5 percent urea.
