This is the first issue of the Outline of Investigation for Wall and Ceiling Mounts and Accessories, Subject 2442, which covers shelves, brackets, and similar devices, that provide structural support for the mounting of audio/video equipment, information technology equipment, and similar products, to the building structure. The Outline also applies to accessories that are used to expand the capability of a mounting device.
