Summary of Topics

The second edition of the Standard for Positive Pressure Fire Tests of Door Assemblies, UL 10C, has been issued to reflect the latest ANSI approval date, and to incorporate the proposals dated June 13, 2008 and December 5, 2008. These proposals include the following:

• The removal of the reference to asbestos.

• The update of source for refractory material.

• The relocation of felted pad requirements to the test method.

• The clarification of terminology.

• Editorial revisions including updating the title outside references, deletion of the scope paragraph 1.8, and addition of the undated reference paragraph.
