These revisions to UL 429 include:
1. Addition of Requirements for Electrically Operated Valves Powered by a Class 2 (Low-Voltage) Circuit.
2. Addition of Requirements for General Purpose Pneumatic (Air) Valves with Nonmetallic Fluid-Confining Parts.
3. Revision to the Requirements for General Purpose Valves for Flammable and Hazardous Fluids, and Safety Valves When a Synthetic Rubber Material is Used Only as a Static Seal.
4. Addition of References to 7.2 and Other Editorial Changes.
5. Removal of the Canadian Requirements Comparison Guide (CRG) From the Standard.
