These revisions to ANSI/UL 558 are being issued to incorporate the following changes in requirements:
Revisions to the definitions for type designations
Revision to the list of referenced standards
Revisions to wiring requirements
Revision to allow nonmetallic material near exhaust system components
Deletion of the requirement regarding fuel fill location
Addition of requirements for air conditioning and heating systems
Revisions to the Hydrostatic Strength Test for fuel pumps
Modify incorrect unit conversion for Marking-Plate-Adhesion Test
Addition of Supplement SB for floor cleaning machines
Revision to Appendix A
