This is a re-issuance of the version of UL 796F, dated January 9, 2008, as the First Edition of the Standard for Flexible Materials Interconnect Constructions. Subsequent revisions to the standard are being re-issued as the Second Edition of UL 796F. The number of new and revised requirements added to the First Edition requiring a future effective date makes the separation of these two documents necessary for clarity and for ease of review of future proposals.
The new and revised requirements that were published in UL 796F on June 15, 2009 appear in the Second Edition of the standard.
