These revisions to UL 1018 are being issued:
1. To add requirements for evaluating fittings integral to aquarium base;
2. To add requirements for evaluating aquarium equipment provided with Tungsten- Halogen or High Intensity Discharge Lamps;
3. To add requirements for dual power supply cords; and
4. To address universal upkeep of the standard. These revisions are considered to be non-substantive and not subject to UL's STP process.
