This revision to ANSI/UL 60079-0, the Standard for Safety for Explosive Atmospheres - Part 0: Equipment - General Requirements is issued to note the November 16, 2009 ANSI approval date of ANSI/ISA 60079-0.
As noted in the Commitment for Amendments statement located on the back side of the title page, UL and ISA are committed to updating this bi-national standard jointly. However, the revision pages dated December 8, 2009 will not be issued by ISA as revision pages but as an update to their standard.
