The revisions dated March 13, 2009 were issued to incorporate the following revised requirements and to reflect the March 13, 2009 ANSI recognition of the standard.
1. Revisions to align with IEC Amendment No. 1 for IEC 60745-2-9, second edition
2. Revisions to add superseded requirement pages that incorporate requirements to be applied to tappers investigated to the requirements of the Third edition of the Standard for Hand-Held Motor-Operated Electric Tools - Safety - Part 1: General Requirements, UL 60745-1.
